On September 22nd, at 3:19 PM MDT, we welcome the Autumn Equinox. This represents a cosmic crossroad, as the Sun reaches its opposing balance point and enters the cardinal, air sign of Libra. The chart for the Equinox forms a square between the Sun in Libra and Pluto in Capricorn. This indicates a need to redirect Pluto's abrasive energies and broaden perspectives, in order to create more fulfilling relationships. On September 30th, Mercury turns direct, unraveling communication mishaps and issues of indecision formed under the retrograde. This year, Mercury will add a fourth retrograde period on December 26th. Saturn (status quo) and Uranus (revolutionary change) remain opposed, highlighting economic issues and radical reforms which continue to affect us personally and globally.
During the first week of October, Mars catches up with Mercury and communication is accelerated.  Be careful not to make rash decisions during this time.
On October 3rd, the Aries Full Moon infuses a new level of confidence and we are invited to reactivate our passions. The challenge lies in balancing home life with work life. Relationships take on a serious tone, as issues of integrity and fairness command us to play by Saturn's rules.
On November 2nd the Full Moon in Taurus focuses on our attitudes concerning finances. Watch for tendencies to overspend. Neptune turns direct on November 3rd, as we readjust our lives with greater clarity and compassion. The energies of the Scorpio New Moon, on November 16thevoke strong passions and heightened sensitivities, as we perceive what is normally hidden within the shadows. Diplomacy is the keyword for the month of December. This is a good time for goal setting, as we move towards year's end.
