| Investor Meeting, Sept 28, 2010 |
 On Tuesday, September 28th, 2010, Derek Okubo spoke to over 40 investors and special guests at the Blue Springs EDC Investor meeting, held at the Adams Pointe Conference Center. Mr. Okubo is a Sr. Vice President for the National Civic League, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that promotes civic engagement and inclusive forms of community building and problem solving.
The EDC asked Mr. Okubo to speak to it's investing partners because of his past involvement in Blue Springs with facilitating community led visioning projects called "Out of the Blue-into the Future" in 2004, and "Renew the Blue" in 2006-2007. It was these efforts that led to the creation of the Blue Springs EDC and other important initiatives. Also, Mr. Okubo has led communities and City leaders across the nation in similar efforts. | Blue Springs EDC Booth at Fall Fun Fest |
 Many thanks to the following volunteers for serving at the Blue Springs EDC Booth during this year's Fall Fun Fest! During the festival, the booth was rarely without one or more visitors asking about growth and development in Blue Springs.
