This Saturday friends and admirers of Robert "Bob" Cleland will be attending a memorial service to celebrate his unwavering commitment to peace and justice. In the rain, snow, or the hottest summer sun, Bob was always there, fighting for the causes he believed in. He was an inspiration to every grassroots volunteer working for a better world.  The memorial details are below.

The NTDO Political Action Committee is inviting anyone interested in playing a part in the upcoming campaign efforts to come to a training session on organizing sponsored by the DPOE (Democratic Party of Evanston) in conjunction with Organizing for America.

During 2010, the NTDO Program Committee has plans to host several forums for the New Trier community featuring key public figures.  Stay tuned for announcements of future speakers during the year.
Meet Sheila Simon, Candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Illinois -- Monday May 10th 
Sheila Simon, the Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Illinois, will talk about her campaign as the running mate of Governor Pat Quinn, and discuss the issues facing Illinois. She will also take questions from those in attendance.
