NTDO NEWS
October 21, 2009 |
This weekend, a large group of New Trier Democrats will be turning their attentions away from all of the state, national and international issues that keep our times so "interesting." Instead, we will gather to celebrate the continuing success of the New Trier Democratic Organization and to honor a person who for twenty-five years has played a huge role in making that success possible, New Trier Democratic Committeeman Bill Crowley. Of course, to say that caring about today's big issues and taking part in the local activities of the NTDO involves separate perspectives misstates the reality. It's all connected. Over the years the grassroots work of the NTDO has helped put a number of exceptional political leaders into positions of influence to positively affect our communities, our state and our nation. It's true that very soon we will be facing some new challenges. But this weekend, we'll take the time to simply enjoy dinner with friends.
