Good morning,
NTDO's reform activities are going strong. The reform forum at the Winnetka Community House last Sunday was a great success. About 150 people showed up to hear Judge Abner Mikva, Cindi Canary, State Representative Julie Hamos and State Senator Jeff Schoenberg present their views on political campaign reform and on how it might be accomplished. Forty people in the audience took home petition sheets to gather signatures to be presented next month to the leadership in Springfield.

Next monday at 7:00 p.m., our stellar Democratic candidates Dan Seals and Daniel Biss will lead a discussion on campaign contribution limits and the role they might play in the reduction of corruption in Illinois. This will be the first of several Monday evening discussions with Illinois political campaign reform as the subject. Come help the NTDO launch this informative series.
