Abner Mikva to lead Reform Forum in Winnetka |
 Save Sunday, April 19 on your calendar. The NTDO is sponsoring a forum on Illinois political reform at the Winnetka Community House from 3:00 to 4:30. The Honorable Abner Mikva, former 10th District Congredssman and Chief of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals will be joined by Cindi Canary, the Director of the Illinois Campaign for Political Reform. They'll present their perspectives on the current campaign finance reform initiatives in Illinois and answer questions from the audience. There will also be plenty of information to take home. Watching a Cubs game from a rooftop is like nothing else in baseball. This summer we've got a rooftop lined up for our own private party, Sunday, July 26 to watch the Cubs play Cincinnati. The view is fantastic and all the food and drinks are included in the ticket price -- just $100. Considering what you would pay for a regular game ticket plus concessions, this is a heckuva deal. The food is better too, brats, burgers and more. And the crowd is the best -- all fellow Democrats.
