SOFTBALL LEAGUE

The TAP Coed spring/summer softball league is getting organized for the 2010 season.   This is a request to see what the interest is for this year.   Last year was an excellent time and lots of fun.  If you or your company would like to participate in the league please contact Chris Lawrence:  clawrence@ccsnh.edu.
It's not too cold to think about golf is it?

Pease 'n Carrots Food Drive THANK-YOU!

Seacoast Asset Management in cooperation with Two International Group, CP Property Management and Philbrick's Fresh Market extend a sincere thank you to all of the wonderful donors to our 2nd annual Pease 'n Carrots Food Drive.   This allowed us to deliver 1500 pounds of non-perishable food in the name of Seacoast Local's (H)EAT Campaign and Portsmouth Rotary's Harvest for Hunger.  Local charities benefitting from this drive are Cross Roads House, The Salvation Army and the Seacoast Family Food Pantry.  Warmest regards for your thoughtfulness!   Loree & Mark Sullivan

Tradeport Companies in the News

Haiti Relief.  Our very own Global Relief Technologies products will help reconnect families in Haiti.  Two teams from Global Relief have deployed with the Navy and the Marines to provide support and training on rugged personal digital assistants and cell phones loaded with rapid data management systems software.  This equipment will rapidly show which roads are passable, which bridges are still operational, where to setup landing zones for helicopters and find buildings that are safe for shelter.  The devices can also take pictures to send back to the main database for greater level of ground detail.   Way to go!

National Passport Center.  Approval has been granted for the expansion of the National Passport Center's new 26,000 square-foot addition.   Construction is expected to begin within two weeks and the four-story addition at 207 International Drive should be occupied by October.  The expansion will include a walk-up counter where customers can receive their passports.   The addition is expected to add 125-150 new jobs.  We'll be watching the progress!

Redhook Food Drive.  The 3rd Annual Food Drive at the Cataqua Pub in the brewery runs January 11 - February 11, 2010.  Donations to food pantries seem to dip after the holidays and the food is greatly needed at this time.  Redhook Brewery invites customers to bring in at least 2 non-perishable food items when they visit the pub.  In thanks, Redhook will provide participants with special pricing on their beverage of choice.  In the past years, the month long drive has contributed over 350 pounds to seacoast area food pantries.  Redhook hopes to surpass that weight in 2010.   Once again, Redhook steps up to the plate to help the community and TAP applauds you!

Great Bay Kids had their ribbon cutting on Friday 1/29/2010 and they are open for business! We are thrilled to have them on the Tradeport and welcome them!  What a great place to bring your kids to keep them safe, happy and well cared for while you work nearby. For more information contact  Great Bay Kids

Farewell to our Emerson/Bauman Friends!

In December we were sad to see our Pease co-workers from Emerson Process Management give up their  posts.   The company has moved the Portsmouth operations to Texas.  A few employees will remain at the Pease location to close things down until March and we wish them all the best.
