Pease Development Authority will host the November 17th meeting at their new office at 55 International Drive
The meeting will take place 8:00 - 9:30 a.m.
Seating capacity is 60 people and a large turnout is expected. TAP respectfully asks that you limit your company representation to a few who can bring the information back to your group. |

Join the Great Bay Chapter of the American Red Cross on November 5, 2009 from 7:30-9:00am in celebrating the community's unsung heroes at a breakfast sponsored by Global Relief Technologies and Liberty Mutual. The Pease Greeters and the Dover Indoor Pool Lifeguards will be honored at this celebration at the Sheraton Harborside Hotel in Portsmouth. Order tickets for the buffet breakfast ($15 each) by October 29th by calling 603-766-5440. |
| Seacoast Ski Club to Host Ski Swap |

The Seacoast Ski Club meets the second Monday of the month at Redhook Brewery on Pease. On Saturday, November 7th from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., the Ski Club will be hosting a ski swap at Putnam's, 2998 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth. For more information on selling your used equipment of the ski club, please visit the club's web site. |

| Annual TAP Breakfast |

Save the date for the annual TAP breakfast to be held on Tuesday, December 15th at 8:00 a.m. Portsmouth Regional Hospital is sponsoring this event and a full breakfast will be served. You are an invited guest of TAP and all that we ask for admission to the breakfast is a donation to our featured non-profit organization, the Pajama Program. We will be collecting new pajamas and books for children in need.

| Free Seminars
The American Red Cross Great Bay Chapter will be holding free seminars in November/December to help businesses and their employees prepare for the 2009/2010 flu season. Each 90-minute presentation will educate business managers and their employees on steps that can be taken to reduce the spread of both H1N1 and seasonal flu viruses, as well as recommended actions to maintain business continuity in the face of a flu pandemic.
Each seminar will cover:
- The differences between seasonal flu, the H1N1 virus, and pandemic flu
- How the influenza virus spreads
- Protecting employees and reducing the spread of flu in the workplace
- Business continuity planning

All seminars will be held at Southern New Hampshire University, Portsmouth Campus.
*There will be a toolkit with Leader's Guide, DVD and CD-Rom available for order for those participants who would like to bring the presentation back to their place of business. There is a $30 fee, and pre-orders are encouraged. |
