In thinking back recently, I realized that Pendulum has grown so much over the past few years. We have full classes with new faces and old friends, a busy calendar of special events, upcoming shows in Klamath Falls and Salem and increased support from the Portland community. We're bursting at the seams, and I couldn't be happier about it!

And in the vein of growth, I wanted to put feelers out there that we could really use a cargo van. If you know of any auto dealers in the Portland area there that would be interested in talking to us about the possibilities, please let me know.

We're loading up again to take High Art on the road. This time we'll be in Klamath Falls, OR for a single performance on Saturday, October 22. Tickets can be purchased from the

Ross Ragland Theater, so if you have friends or family  in the area, be sure to let them know about this opportunity to see us live.

In January, we'll be even closer to our Portland home base with a show at The Historic Elsinore Theatre in Salem. The show will be on Saturday, January 21, and we've just confirmed that Deoro and Sasha Lazard will be able to join us for this performance. With the addition of their live music, the performance should be amazing!

We also want to express our deepest appreciation to the Spirit Mountain Community Fund and the Nike Employee Grant Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation, both of whom awarded grants to Pendulum in the last month. These grants will allow us to strengthen and expand our education program.

On October 22 we will provide entertainment for the Chelsea Hicks Foundation's Masquerade Ball. The foundation strives to offer programs that benefit the well-being of seriously ill children and their families.

And in January, we head to Tampa, FL to participate in The Special Event, a conference hosted by ISES and then to the Midwest to perform at a private event in Detroit, MI.

Visit our website for information on our event offerings.
