A letter from our Artistic Director

Two months to go until opening night of High Art!

Summer is a time of intensive artistic & skill development for Pendulum. We are gearing up for our most popular summer camp & intensive yet. We look forward to time with long-time collaborators Nicole Pearson, James Frith, and Tanya Burka back for coaching and creating plus time to work with new artists Goy Suvan, and Shell Stachowicz.

We continued our partnership with Cirque du Soleil with a weekend even in Seattle and have event appearances closer to home for Intel and The Oregon Zoo Foundation.

We are also delighted to have mother-daughter volunteer teams from the National Charity League on board to help us with High Art and beyond.

On a housekeeping note: I've changed my primary email address to pendulumaerialarts@gmail.com. Please update your address books.

Suzanne Kenney, Artistic Director

Upcoming Performances
We look forward to seeing you at our
10th anniversary shows.

High Art: August 19-22 at Portland Art Museum's Kridel Ballroom
High Art: A Surreal Portrait of the Soul

Tickets for High Art are already on sale at the Portland Art Museum's box office. Reserve early and help us spread the word. Interested in bringing a group? Contact us directly.

We are 2 months out from opening night! After two weeks of intensive rehearsal with Christian Fitzharris, the story arc has really taken shape.

Nicole Pearson and Tanya Burka will be working on choreography for two acts while they are here coaching our summer intensive.

Our talented musicians continue on with their busy schedules. Dave Eggar is currently on a 3-week tour of Asia, Ya'el's busy summer schedule includes prep for a show at the Grammy Museum, and Sasha Lazard just gave birth to a lovely baby boy. Welcome, Lucien!
