Season's greetings from Pendulum!
As 2009 draws to a close, it's really starting to sink in: Pendulum is entering its 10th year! It is exciting and rewarding to look back at how we have evolved as a company and see how aerial and circus arts have evolved as a performance discipline. It is also inspiration to pursue our mission and creative vision with renewed passion for the next decade. We are gearing up for a busy and rewarding 2010 full of new offerings in our education program, two great shows in Portland, and travel to exhibitions and special events around the United States.
Pendulum remains committed to presenting top-tier education and entertainment programs for our community. We continue to seek opportunities to collaborate with organizations which not only ensure that Pendulum can sustain our programming but also encourage a robust arts and culture sector throughout Oregon. There are many ways you can celebrate 10 years of inspiration in flight with us in 2010:
- Your donation to Pendulum today means you can qualify for a tax credit this year if you match your donation with a gift to the Oregon Cultural Trust. Visit the link on the side bar to learn more about this program.
- You can continue to sign up for our classes.
- Pendulum's tailored entertainment offerings can infuse your upcoming event with the elegant artistry of Pendulum's company members and international agency artists.
- Tickets to our upcoming shows make great gifts! Tickets are on sale now for our two upcoming shows: X, our open house and 10-year retrospective in April, and the premiere of our new work High Art at the Portland Art Museum in August.
- Interested in becoming a sponsor of our performance or education programs? Contact me directly at [email protected] to learn more about our sponsorship packages.

Upcoming Performances: Celebrating 10 years of inspiration in flight
Pendulum invites you, our supportive community, to join us for our 10th anniversary celebrations in 2010.
X: Pendulum's Tenth Anniversary Open house and retrospective.
Come celebrate with us in an evening of love, laughter, and aerial antics. Presenting a retrospective of Pendulum's ground breaking creative work from the past 10 years with favorite acts from some of our 15 public shows. Featuring the choreography of Suzanne Kenney, the company, and long time collaborators Nicole Pearson, Tanya Burka, and Andrew & Erika Adams.
