Welcome to the New Year
New year brings new bookmark page and new look to NCFMR

For those of you who may have bookmarked the NCMR address on your computer, please update the address to reflect the NCFMR Website address, as our redirect expired on December 31, 2009:

Keep in mind, in addition to our name change and Website address change, we changed our email and building addresses as well:

As you may recall, the National Center for Family & Marriage Research (NCFMR) changed their name from the National Center for Marriage Research (NCMR) last summer.  The addition of the word "family" fosters NCFMR's overall mission of providing research, training, and dissemination to improve the understanding of marriage and family structure.

Please visit us at http://ncfmr.bgsu.edu to learn about recent funding and research opportunities, to register for conferences and workshops, and to read about current research findings.  Also, watch for NCFMR's newly designed Website that we will unveil in February.

The National Center for Family & Marriage Research, established in 2007 by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, aims to improve our understanding of how marriage and family structure affect the health and wellbeing of families, adults, children and communities and to inform policy development and programmatic responses.
