For the 2nd year in a row Katten & Benson will be decorating a Christmas Tree to be auctioned off at Tanglewood Oaks Assisted Living.

The money raised will be donated to Meals on Wheels and Guardianship Services.

You are all invited to go by Tanglewood Oaks (2698 S. Hulen, Fort Worth, TX 76109) to drop off unwrapped gifts (no food, candy or perfume, please) for forgotten seniors through the holiday season.
A Christmas Poem
KB Logo'Twas the night before Christmas, when all 'round  the firm
Everyone was anxious, trying not to squirm.
The files in Steve's office were stacked to the sky
Just waiting to be finished before falling awry.

Monica  in her office, she was tying up loose ends,
Happily looking forward to holidays with friends.
Kim was on the road, making visits right and left
Trying to ensure no one was bereft.

Brenda was drafting documents and answering phones,
All the while thinking about things happening at home.
Janice was up to her elbows in bank statements
Trying to find out whose tenants were paying rents.

Molly dog was lounging, her tail all awag,
Hoping to grab snacks from someone's gift bag.
Cordy was scanning--HP finally came through.
She can now get files on one disc, not two.

A norther was blowing, the sleet started falling;
The clients on the calendar had all begun calling.
Ice to drive on, not so much fun,
But business is business, and business must go on.

Steve sent everyone home, he closed up the shop,
And off everyone went, with a skip and a hop.
But Kim didn't know, she was out on the road,
And she went to the office to drop off her load.

As she pulled into the lot, trying not to slide,
She saw a sleigh taking off with a glide.
It was Santa in the sleigh, with his eight reindeer.
Kim shook her head, thinking "Why was he here"?

Once in the office she looked all around,
Up at the ceiling and down on the ground.
All the work was done, the piles were all gone,
With gifts all in place, for each and everyone.

Kim ran out the door and into the lot,
And as the sleigh pulled away she had this thought:
"Santa came to the office, he really was here!
Bringing us gifts and spreading good cheer!

We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season!

Molly Benson
Meet Molly, the newest member of the Katten & Benson team. She is a pure breed office dog, and does a fantastic job greeting clients and visitors. Molly is Mollya mature and dignified nine-year old pup. She was a rescue dog, and she will tell anyone and everyone what a lucky dog she is. Molly's favorite pastimes are playing with chew toys and doing tricks. Peanut butter is a favorite snack. Molly sitting up
When she's not working, you can find Molly at home sleeping on the couch, when her siblings Picasso, Matisse and Oliver will allow it.
We'll get back to more serious content next month (unless I get a lot of requests not to). Please feel free to let me know if there is a particular topic you'd like to see covered. Happy Holidays!

Sincerely,
