Another GIANT step closer to a cure |  |
Over 200 golfers attended the Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Ryan's Quest, sponsored by Hamilton Honda & NFL Legend Jessie Armstead. The greens on the course were in beautiful shape and so were the greens that were raised for Duchenne muscular dystrophy research. Golfers had the opportunity to meet and greet several former NFL players including Jessie Armstead, Antonio Pierce, Lincoln Coleman, Kevin Williams, & Marcus Buckley. After a round of golf on a gorgeous day, the event concluded with a delicious dinner & a LIVE and silent auction hosted by Jessie Armstead. Jessie took over the mic (and the crowd) with his motivation & determination to raise some money for RQ! He auctioned off some really nice prizes including GIANTS & EAGLES autographed memorabilia & a personal guided tour of GIANTS stadium for 4! Antonio Pierce joined in the action by auctioning off a chance for 4 lucky people to attend ESPN for a tour of the facility and a viewing of Sports Center! While these items were quite a surprise, it was no surprise to us that this event would be another great success!

What originally started out as a picnic has grown into a community favorite for all ages.
This year's musical lineup includes live music by local favorites Ernie White, El Ka Bong, Charles Laurita, Joe Vadala, Lisa Bouchelle, and kids favorite Mr. Ray. The Quest Fest which is staffed primarily by local law enforcement officers will include a K9 Dog Demonstration, a NJSP helicopter landing, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Face Painting, Jugglers, Magic Shows, Gaming Truck, throw a pitch to dunk local politicians, appearances by The Philly Phanatic & Ronald McDonald, Moon Bounces, Stilt Walkers, a small touch a truck display, 50/50, chance to win a Joe DiMaggio autographed baseball and more..
Tickets for the Ryan's Quest Fest are $20 for adults ($25 at the gate) and $10 for children. Tickets include ALL FOOD, BEVERAGES and ENTERTAINMENT. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ryansquest.org, at any Mercer County Roma Bank Branch and at the event.

TEAM Ryan's Quest is suiting up again this summer to take on the heat, let off some steam & defeat the fiercest competitor of all...Duchenne muscular dystrophy! They will compete in the New Jersey State Triathlon hosted by CGI Racing at Mercer County Park.
Whether you are a casual runner or a weekend athlete, or you just need some motivation to reach your personal goals, you can focus your passion to help raise awareness and funds for DMD and Team Ryan's Quest.
