NONPROFIT SECTOR NEWS

TANO.org Under Construction!  Over the holidays, TANO has been upgrading and functionality of our webiste.  This newer version will be more secure, easier to navigate and will enable us to provide more benefits to our members; however, in the meantime, we are in the process of learning the new site ourselves and ironing out some of the glitches.

Register Now!  Limited Seating Available!  One of the most talked about subjects in the nonprofit field is the question of effectiveness, performance measurement, and results-collectively referred to as "outcomes." Nonprofit organizations are increasingly being pressed to measure and report their outcomes regularly to funders and other constituents; in addition, service organizations need some form of regular feedback on their outcomes to help them improve their services. Dr. Robert Penna's recently published The Nonprofit Outcomes Toolbox identifies the stages in the use of outcomes and shows you how to implement specific facets of certain models to increase capacity and achieve desired results in your organization. I would highly recommend attending any event that TANO hosts. Project LIFT has been a member for over 4 years and this is one membership that is a must for us! By the way, this is not a paid endorsement but rather a testament to the wonderful work that TANO does in support of non-profits through-out the State of Texas.
