  • See the biggest combine in the country up close, compare modern hi tech equipment with vintage machinery from days gone by.
  • Splat the rats, milk Mabel the cow, lots of fun activities.
  • Speak to the pig farmer, the shepherd, the strawberry expert, find out what it is like to work in the country.
  • Lots of tasting over the weekend, including Stewart Brewery, Salar Salmon and lots more.
  • Meet the racing driver and win a hot lap in his car!!  Craigie's sponsor a local racing driver - Rory who currently leads the Scottish and UK Championships!  She his car and win a thrill of your life.
  • Buffet barbecue with Puddledub meat and fresh salads.

The shop and cafe will be open as normal from 9am until 5pm, activities will run from 11am until 3pm on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th June.

Winner of sizzling sausage flavour competition

The competition was tough with lots of entries.  In the final cook off we had 'Pork and Pear' and Haggis and Neeps'

The winner of the design a sausage competition was announced a couple of weeks ago and the sausages have been flying of the shelf!

Young Aiden Murphy came up with 'Haggis and Neeps' sausages, Steve was very impressed with the idea and more importantly the taste of the end result!
Aiden and his family have won a trip to Steve's Buffalo Farm in Fife, well done!

Make sure you try out some the next time you are in.

The guys are really getting quite busy out on the farm, our staff goes from a team of one in January to a 35 'man' team in July.

Between picking, we are busy planting strawberry and raspberries for our late crop.  We are also waiting for a calm spell so that we can cover more tunnels.

Jamie, our new fruit manager, is settling in well and has already made a big impact to the way the team are working.  More time for me to spend on the golf course!!??
I really hope you can make it along to our Open Weekend this weekend, the Craigie's team (plus a lot of extra) are really looking forward to showing you around.

Regards
John
