Newsletter November 2009
Greetings!

I am really looking forward to Christmas this year .............. firstly to switching my alarm clock off and then ensuring that all phones are un plugged or switched off!!

Christmas is approaching a a great rate of knots and I feel that December will disappear as quickly as it came.  But these are exciting times and  I certainly plan to enjoy!
Its not too late to place your Christmas Order we still have most sizes of turkey, goose and duck available, but do not hinder, get your order in if you have not done so already!

Cheese and Wine evening
We still have a small number of tickets left for this event, it is also going to be the first event in our new cafe extension (I hope)!!

We held one of these evenings last year and it was a very successful and enjoyable evening.
The evening is all about enjoying good food and wine whilst making new friends.
The evening is based around some of Craigie's homemade food, our kitchen crew will be on hand to give you some great catering tips for Christmas.
We will also have a wine expert to help you taste and enjoy some great wines, giving you tips on what to serve at Christmas time.

We are holding our next one on the evening of Wednesday 9th December at 7pm at Craigie's.
Tickets are priced at just £15 per person, this includes all food and drink.

Buy your tickets in the shop or email me now -

Extension Update
The builders are planning to be finished the shop end of the extension this weekend!  The Building Inspector is coming out next week, so fingers crossed we will be up and running for the 'two weeks before Christmas' target I set!!  They should be finished the 'staff end' before Christmas.

Our new butchery counter is going to be manned and stocked by Steve Mitchell (Puddledub Buffalo).  Steve and his Uncle are stock farmers from Fife, both are well known at Farmers Markets and Steve has a shop near Glenrothes.  We are all really excited about having a butchery counter at Craigie's stocked with some great local meat.

Santa is coming to Craigie's!
You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to Craigie's!

Santa will be up at the shop and cafe from 10am until 4pm this Sunday, bring the kids up to have a chat with the man himself!
For course in true Craigie's fashion we will have lots of samples on the go.
Dalmeny Christmas Trees
We are delighted that Stuart from Dalmeny Christmas Trees is offering all of Craigie's customers a great discount on a freshly cut Christmas Tree.  See below for this great saving.
The trees are on sale just down the road from us at Dalmeny Stables (next to the House).
