| Paper Recycling Information |
|
Every third Thursday of the month, Recology SF, our waste management company puts on an informative meeting called "Lunch at the Dump".
Sandra and Leigh attended in January and learned that shredded paper is quite hard to recycle. The best way to dispose of the paper is to place it in a paper bag and label it "SHREDDING" so that the sorters can easily identify it and remove it from the larger piles. Otherwise, dispose of it in the compost bins! |
As a reminder, 303 Second Street offers monthly electronics recycling with Green Citizen the third Thursday of every month. This month, Electronics Recycling will take place on Thursday, February 17th.
