Malama Kaua`i is hosting an all-local fundraising dinner event Saturday, February 20th from 5p - 8p at Common Ground formerly the
site of Guava Kai Plantation
We would like to invite you to celebrate the beginning of 2010 with us.
If you are able, please join us for an evening of ono food prepared by
Chef Ryan Fox, live entertainment, and a conversation about the future
of Malama Kaua`i.
Malama
Kaua`i is a Kilauea based non-profit that focuses on catalyzing
community abundance through relocalization and aloha `aina.
Executive Director Keone Kealoha and Deputy Director Andrea Brower will
present Malama Kaua`i's priorities for 2010 in the context of a
changing island and a growing need for sustainability.
They will also
be wrapping up 2009, thanking the many community members that have made
possible a four-acre community garden, the beginning of an island wide
school garden network, and other projects supporting local agriculture
and business. The organization's newest Board Members will also be
introduced.

us. A donation of $50.00 includes pupus, dinner and non-alcoholic
