 Lyons P&O has an advisory board.
In March 2007, Alexander Lyons, CPO formed an advisory board of top health
professionals. The board was formed in order to increase communication and build
trust between various health professionals in the field, improving orthotic and
prosthetic (O&P) patient care.
The board includes patients, surgeons, nurses, physical
therapists, and new to the board this fall, a family nurse practitioner, a
certified physician assistant specializing in rehab, and a medical billing
expert.
"One of the biggest benefits that this group offers is a
chance to see what other health care professionals are experiencing within the
realm of their practices," said Lyons.
"The board creates a forum to share ideas, discuss relevant issues that
affect patients, and establishes partnerships in a cooperative effort to
provide the highest quality service to O&P patients."

15, 2008 at Horry-Georgetown Tech College in Myrtle Beach, SC.
The course was entitled "Gait Biomechanics and Orthotic Management."
