Drive It Out
William Faulkner wrote, "The man who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones." Life's bigger challenges are often met with a sense of defeat before we even begin to tackle them. Any military straightest knows the best way to defeat an enemy is to divide in order to conquer. The same principal can apply here. A situation or task seemingly to daunting to navigate can be taken on more easily when you divide it into parts; when you take on one aspect at a time instead of facing the entire scenario as a whole, head on. When you move "stones" instead of boulders, it doesn't seem as "heavy." We can move mountains. Don't get discouraged. Pause occasionally and look behind you at the increasing pile of "stones" you've already moved. It really is about perspective.
