The Mystery Of Life
Have you been trying to dictate life on your terms? I think we all do this to some degree. Some of us just have a harder time with it than others. Order is important for sure, but when everything must be in "your" order, it mostly frustrates you, and those around you. One might call this control, or manipulation. Regardless of the label, too much of it takes the mystery out of life. "The mystery of life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced," Aart Van Der Leeuw wrote. Do you find that you enjoy the mystery of life, or do you feel more of a need to be in control of it? Life is a journey to be taken. You are going through life no matter what. I've learned the more I allow it to unfold on it's own, and the less I try to dictate how it unfolds, the more I enjoy the journey. There's actually peace within the mystery if you'll allow yourself to let go of the need to be in charge of it.
