Kingdom Interference
The New Living Transition of Matthew 6:33 reads this way; "He will give you all you need from day to day, if you live for Him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern."
Easier said than done, huh? I agree. But that's the bar set by Christ Himself. The message indicates though that if we'll make our focus God, and His Kingdom, He will meet our needs. The key is understanding the difference between what we think we need, and what God knows we need. I suspect there's a pretty big difference in opinion there. Are our perceived needs really so? Have you ever thought about what your genuine needs are? What would it take to sustain you? I don't think God wants us to live like paupers in a tent, but I suspect there's a lot more want than need that gets in the way of our roll in the Kingdom.
