A Straight Path
It feels like it's getting harder and harder to trust these days. As a society, we are drifting further from center every day. Corruption, crime, and deception are the norm. When did dishonesty become an acceptable method? Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make your paths straight."
What we're looking for is a straight path - one that's visible from a distance. When you're traveling through a jungle, you better hope you have a trustworthy, experienced guide. In this world, I don't know anyone I can trust like I can trust Jesus. David said, "blessed is the man who trusts in You." (Psalm 84:12)
Where have you been putting your trust these days?
