"Today is tomorrow's yesterday. Make this day count. Every day is a new opportunity to do life differently than the day before. Don't wait til tomorrow to wish you had done something yesterday that was really important. Tomorrow may never come. Time is a comodity we can't afford to waste." gt

Where Else?
Daily Life Quote: "What I've started I must finish, I've gone too far to turn back. Regardless of what may happen, I have to go forward." Bastian, from The Never Ending Story
Daily Life Verse: "From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. 'You do not want to leave too, do you?' Jesus asked the Twelve. Simon Peter answered him, 'Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God." (John 6:66-69)
Daily Life Thought: Have you reached the place in your walk with God that you could make either declaration above? You know what the path backwards looks like for your life. Could you honestly say turning back would make anything any better? God has brought you this far; He will see you through the entire journey. The Israelites wandered in the desert so long that they began to think about their time in captivity, wishing they could go back. Anything was better than where they were, they thought. How easily we lose site of who Jesus is. How quickly we're willing to throw in the towel when the going gets a little tough; maybe even a lot tough. But consider where you've come from. Take an inventory of your life's journey to this point. My guess is you've invested quite a bit of your life into this faith walk. And you've come a long ways, even though at the moment it doesn't feel like it. When God allows your life to reach a fork in the road, it's not so you'll fail, it's so you'll grow stronger. When the tough words of Christ come to you in revelation over a situation, it's for your strength, not to prove your weakness. Peter said, "where else would we go? You have the words of life." Hang on to that. When the road is at it's roughest, no matter what happens, don't turn back.
Daily Life Discovery: How do you handle life's crossroads? Is looking back really an option?
