Abide In The Expectant
Daily Life Quote:

Daily Life Verse:
"It's not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you." (Acts 1:7-8)
Daily Life Thought:
When Jesus moves on us and through us, mighty things happen. Does that mean if we have enough faith, everything we ask for will go our way? No. We are not in control, regardless of how hard we try to be the ones calling the shots. But when God sets a plan in motion, and we tap into His will for our lives and His will to see His plans carried out, we can experience a power like no other. We will witness miracles before our very eyes. We will get to participate in prayers that move mountains. And we will understand that God moves how He moves, and it's not always how we expect. And yet, there's a peace contained in it that allows us to stand down, and wait for the next wind to come upon us. God knows when He intends to elevate us to the place where we get to act on His behalf. The key is to abide in the expectant peace that it will come.
Daily Life Discovery:
This is not a lofty existence. The world just doesn't promote this kind of life. Do you find it hard to stay in this place? Consider what your detractors are and how you might remove some of those obstacles.
