A new season has arrived! It's the dawn of new beginnings. If last year was rough, then this year can be better. The old has passed. Every encounter with a new day, or a new season, or a new year, is an opportunity to reap new fruit. What will your year be like? God knows. As this new chapter begins, seek His direction and follow His plan. His Kingdom has come.

The Kingdom Of Heaven
Daily Life Quote: "Man has to learn to seek first the kingdom of heaven, the place of stillness and quiet at the highest level of which he is capable, and then the heavenly influences can pour into him, recreate him and use him for the salvation of mankind." White Eagle
Daily Life Verse: Jesus said, "Seek first His Kingdom, and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33)
Daily Life Thought: Much of the ministry of Jesus was spent teaching about the Kingdom of Heaven. In the book of Revelation, John tells us that Jesus has freed us, made us to be a Kingdom, and priests (Revelation 1:6). In Matthew (16:19) Jesus tells us he will give us "the keys to the kingdom." When Jesus was resurrected from the dead He ascended to the thrown room of God, giving us access, handed us the keys to the Kingdom, identified us as His people, and made us to be priests in His Kingdom. Does that register with you? You are not a carpenter, an accountant, a doctor, or a cashier. Those might be what you do to gain income in order to participate in this world. But, as believers in the gospel in Christ, you are now seen as royalty in the eyes of the heavenly realm. I realize that isn't taught much. But you have an amazing amount of power to act on behalf of God. Jesus told the apostles, "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem ... and to the end of the earth." This life in the Kingdom; it's bigger than we realize. It's life where everything matters, and every nuance is important. You have the ability to tip the scales in this world. It's why you are here.
Daily Life Question:
Is this an unfamiliar way of thinking for you? How might you live your life differently if you woke everyday intent on living from the Kingdom of God?
