It's a new day! It's the start of a new season. This day marks the dawn of new beginnings. If last year was rough, then this year can be better. The old has passed. Every encounter with a new day, or a new season, or a new year, is an opportunity to reap new fruit. What will your year be like? God knows. As this new chapter begins, seek His direction and follow His plan.

Entangled With The Present

Daily Life Thought:
Contrary to the popular mind set today, there is a greater power in charge in this world than man himself. Society likes to think it can manifest it's own reality. World leaders and businessmen like to believe they are in charge. It feeds their ego and need to be in control. But the reality is that there are only two sides. If we're not living for God, we must be living for the opposition. And sadly most Christians fall victim to this same deception. The New Testament message; the rescue and redemption brought to a needy people by Jesus Christ, has been muddied and misrepresented by the prince of this world. God wants to change the world through us, yet we are allowing the world to change us instead. Our entanglement in this present age is choking the Kingdom out of us. Don't let it. Today is a new day, and a new opportunity to stand against the influences of this world.
