The Measure Of Our Conduct

Daily Life Thought:
Are you identified by what you do, or how you do it? I have encountered people that are really "good" at their profession, but I don't trust them at all. I've known people that would willingly compromise their integrity to get a leg up on the competition. What you do is simply that; it's what you do. But how you conduct your life; your daily actions played out in public, and in private, define the real person living inside. You've probably heard the expression, 'I wonder how that person sleeps at night?' On the other side, a life lived with integrity has a significant impact beyond the present moment. I've seen it in my children as they struggle to make the right choices in their lives. I have moments of quiet celebration when they make a decision for good because of a moment of spiritual consciousness on my part. It encourages me tremendously. The thing is, it's a daily walk. And for living a life integrity, God has promised to bless our children after us.
Daily Life Question:
Can you recall moments of integrity that have resulted in a blessing in the lives of your children? Are there places now in your life where applying the integrity filter might cause you to act differently?
