Daily Life Thought:
How do you handle the things that happen to you? When faced with a trial, or adversity, or a life crossroad, what is your response? There was a 1971 TV commercial for Fram oil filters that ended with, "you can pay me now, or pay me later." Each situation gives us an opportunity to respond either positively or negatively. I've found in my life that generally a negative response, or unhealthy choice usually costs me more in the long run; where a choice to take the positive, healthy route now always ends up better for me. The experience of living in the fruit of a positive choice creates an environment that promotes a more abundant life. When God brings an opportunity, don't avoid it by burring it someplace in your life. What you do with it writes the next page in your story.
