The entire team at Toccoa Falls Radio
is grateful for your support during our antenna crisis.
In
case you haven't heard, the new antenna has been installed and we are
broadcasting at 50% power until the Federal Communications Commission
gives authorization to return to 100,000 watts.
Any
day now we expect to return to 100% power -- ensuring that WRAF will be
heard "LOUD & CLEAR" all across the tri-state area.
I'm asking you to tune in to 90.9 FM over the next several days and see how we sound.
Then call our "Listener Line" at 800-948-5759 and give us your report.
Here
are some suggested ideas for you to record. These will be played back
over the radio to help us advertise that Toccoa Falls Radio is back
better than ever.
When you call 800-948-5759 you will hear
a brief greeting. After the tone,
just say who you are and that you're recording lines for the "LOUD
& CLEAR" promotion. Speak clearly and with lots of energy.
Okay, HERE ARE THE LINES:
1. This is (name) and I'm listening to 90.9 FM WRAF - "LOUD & CLEAR".
2. I'm (name) listening to WRAF "LOUD & CLEAR" in (city).
3. It's a brilliant new sound with a timeless message. I'm (name) enjoying 90.9 FM "LOUD & CLEAR".
4. (Name) here, listening "LOUD & CLEAR" to 90.9 FM WRAF.
5. This is (name) and 90.9 FM is coming in "LOUD & CLEAR" here in (city).
6. I'm (name) and WRAF is once again broadcasting "LOUD & CLEAR" over 90.9 FM.
Feel free to improvise any additional ideas, character voices etc...that you think of.
