The blog Cool Projects Maui is back in operation and this is where I have been making regular postings.  This e-mail serves a digest.   You can get an RSS feed to the blog to be updated whenever we post, but if you don't want to do that, this e-mail can serve.

An overview of Maui's SBA Award Winners - They will be honored at a lunch this Friday organized by the Maui Chamber of Commerce.   Hearing these stories is always educational and inspirational for us and we are working on interviewing some of the winners for future podcasts.  There will also be a lunch for the statewide winners on April 30th in Honolulu.

An overview of new internet delivered news on Maui with an introduction to Maui's first local tv weekly news show Maui TV News.  Besides great content, this could be a way for you to reach customers.  There are links to two other Maui net delivered services and we will add more in separate postings.

A podcast audio interview with Bob Sommers  Bob is a master public speaker and marketer and is launching a new venture speaking on the topic of "Likeability".  He has also been mastering how to market on the Internet on a shoestring and in addition to a website on the subject is teaching a class with his son Josh, Top 10 Ways to Get People To Come To Your Website on Wed. April 16th at the Cameron Center.   I took this class last fall and was very impressed.   The website with short videos illustrating the details is especially helpful.

Bob has interviewed David Fisher on his Recognized Expert radio show on "Profiting from Your Small Business Development Center"

Last but not least, there is a Maui TechOhana lunch tomorrow, Wednesday, April 9th at Stella Blues in Kihei at 11:30 a.m.  Besides networking, the featured speaker is James Loux of Bio Energy Systems of Hawaii, Inc.
