 Connections.
Energizing. Inspiring. These are just a few words that over 20 Leadership
Racine alumni used to describe their Leadership Racine experience. These alumni
stopped by the Siena Center on September 14, 2010, to meet and greet the 13th
Leadership Racine class as they kicked-off their training. The new class of 30 were guided through a series of exercises and discussions that helped them understand their
own individual leadership style and how different styles can work together by Tim Pflieger, Owner and President of the
Team Leadership Center in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
The participants also were split into their five teams. Each will focus on a specific community area where they will identify
and execute a project that will have a positive community impact and, ideally,
be sustainable. The community areas are: - Parks and Recreation and Cultural Services
- Children and Youth
-
Education and Lifelong Learning
-
Arts and Culture
-
Downtown Commercial and Neighborhood Development
Watch for more great information on how the class is doing! This session was sponsored by Wheaton Franciscan

Four LR graduates, who are members of the Marketing Committee for HALO, put their talents and strengths together to help make a promotional video for the organization. Dorothy Sack (LR '03), Diane
Ingalsbe (LR '03), Ken Gould (LR '08) and Mike Pilger (LR '08) worked together in the process to select the company who would
produce the video. They reviewed each application and interviewed each
candidate to make the selection. They were also involved with the editing of the video. Watch the HALO video and learn about the wonderful asset HALO is to Racine County.
