We have New Leaf cards available for purchase in the Main Office and with every dollar spent 5% goes directly back to Gateway!! The cards work JUST like a gift card. You can use the card at one purchase, or over multiple purchases (just like a debit card).

We also have $25 Starbucks gift cards left over in our SCRIP supplies. These make great for gifts for teachers, babysitters, friends in other towns, etc. Please support our GPA by purchasing these gift cards in the Main Office!

Oct. 4th - Bike to School Day
Gateway Dad's Group will be serving up pancakes again! Come join the fun - breakfast items, juice, hot chocolate will be served starting at 7:30 am to all students who ride their bikes or walk to school.

Gateway Maker Laboratory Donations Needed
We are going to introduce a Maker Lab to our Technology program (beginning this fall with 5th graders, and potentially becoming an after school class).
Please donate unused or broken wind-up clocks, rotary phones and other small mechanical devices for students to take apart to build new inventions and kinetic sculptures.
We can also use the following: PVC pipe, copper tubing, discarded electronics, reel to reel tape recorders and cassette players, broken laptop computers, battery-operated toys and boom boxes.
Donations can be brought to the Main Office. Thank you!

Gateway Middle School Newsletter - Sharkbites
A note from the Middle School Students...
Dear Parents:
For the newspaper elective a group of middle school students are publishing a newspaper called Sharkbites. One of our columns is highlighting the accomplishments of students at Gateway. We would appreciate your help by sending us examples of awards, prizes, and other accomplishments of your child(ren). Things like getting a new belt in karate, getting a Junior Olympic time in swimming, or getting a trophy in gymnastics, or anything else you can think of. Please email sharkbites2012@gmail.com.
