Life Lab Plant Sale - Thank You's
The Life Lab Plant Sale Was a Huge Success and we are excited to announce that we are donating $150 of the proceeds to the 5th grader's endangered species project. They have been working hard this year to raise awareness and money to protect endangered Orangutans in the Sumatra and Borneo rain forests as well as endangered plant and animal species locally!! The remaining proceeds will go to the garden to purchase new tools, binoculars, magnifying glasses and a CA native silk tassel tree for the native plant garden.
Thank You to those people who made it all possible!! A huge thank you to Nada Duna, Molly Slete and Luen Miller for their very generous donations of beautiful flowering plants and the ever popular succulents. Also a big thank you goes out to the dedicated students that worked hard to run the plant sale: Zoey Carmichael, Chloe Manor, Connor Wells, Clara Perotti, Ruby Rorty, Meghan Brandt, and Wyatt Alvis.
We also couldn't have had the wonderful variety and quantity of seedlings without the extremely generous donation of seeds from Botanical Interests Seed Company that was organized by Dana Nichols. Thank you so much!
Thank you to everyone that shopped and worked together to make our 2012 plant sale the best yet! -Caprice

Important Reminders from the Admissions and Business Offices
You Must Enroll Your Child by May 31st to be Eligible for Tuition Discounts!
If you have not yet enrolled your child for the 2012-2013 school year, please be aware that your opportunity to receive a tuition discount will expire at 5:00 pm on May 31st. If you enroll your child before this deadline, you will be able to take advantage of the discounts we offer on some of our tuition payment plans. If you choose the Annual Tuition Payment Plan-Cash on your child's Enrollment Contract, you will receive a 2% discount off of tuition (a savings of up to $296 for children enrolling in grades K-4, and up to $319 for children enrolling in grades 5-8). If you choose the Semi-Annual Tuition Payment Plan, you will receive a 1% discount off of tuition (a savings of up to $148 for children enrolling in grades K-4, and up to $159.50 for children enrolling in grades 5-8). If you enroll your child after 5:00 pm on May 31st, you will not be able to avail yourself of any tuition discounts. Please contact Admissions Director Colleen Sullivan or Business Manager Rima Dunton if you have any questions about enrolling.
Annual and Semi-Annual Tuition Payments Due Soon:
If you chose to pay your child's 2012-2013 tuition on the Annual or Semi-Annual payment plan, your Annual or Semi-Annual tuition payment is due by the close of business (5:00 pm) on Thursday, May 31st. We recommend that families start making arrangements for this payment now so that the required funds are sure to be available by May 31st. The exact amount of your tuition payment appears on the April 30th billing statement that was sent to you in the first week of May.
If you chose the Annual-Credit Card tuition payment plan, your credit card information is already on file and we will charge the full tuition to your card on May 31st. Please make sure that there is sufficient credit left on your credit card so that this payment will go through on May 31st. If you chose the Annual-Cash or Semi-Annual tuition payment plan, your payment must be made in cash or by check. No late fees will accrue on this tuition charge as long as your payment arrives in the Main Office (or clears your credit card account) by 5:00 p.m. on May 31st. We urge parents to be on time with their tuition payments so that they may avoid the late fees and loss of tuition discounts that result from being late with their payments, and so they may avoid placing their children's enrollment (and any financial aid they may have received) in jeopardy. Please contact Rima in the Business Office at x 308 if you have any questions.
