Art Tour Reception Friday April 20th 4 - 5pm
It is time again for our Annual Art Tour! Please join us and view artwork from each student in grades kindergarten through 5, as well as the students who participate in the Middle School electives. Their pieces are displayed in the lobby, along the stairwell, and in the upstairs hallways. This Friday, April 20, please join me for a reception for the artists in the West Cliff room from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. We will serve refreshments and discuss the creative processes that led to the artwork on display. Most of the art will remain on display for the rest of the school year, but the reception is a chance to celebrate the children's work along with them. Look forward to seeing you there.

Life Lab Mothers Day Plant Sale May 11th - 16th after school
We are excited to announce, our annual Mother's Day and Spring Life Lab Plant sale! Funds generated will benefit our Life Lab Science program with a portion of proceeds this year going to help the 5th grader's efforts to raise money for endangered species!!
The event will be held May 11th, 3:00-5:00pm (the Friday before Mother's Day) and May 14th-16th, Monday through Wednesday, from 3:00-5:00, in our Life Lab garden classroom.
Student volunteers will be selling plants that they and other students have grown during Life Lab.
Various grade levels have propagated plants that correspond to the theme gardens they are growing in their spring gardens in Life Lab. This way, children can watch the same things grow at home all summer that they are growing in their life lab garden at school. Plants for sale will include: sunflowers, gourds, popcorn, 3 sisters garden, salsa gardens and CA native plants, potato pots, spaghetti squash, pesto, tomato sauce gardens, salad bowls of baby greens, Mother's Day Strawberry pots, herbal preparations, such as lip balm, salve, and tinctures, and many other perennials, succulents and herbs propagated by the students.
Hope to see you at the Plant Sale!
