Nichols, Scott Polland, Jay & Ruby Rorty, Anne and Mat Rowley, Nada Duna and Raymond Samaha, and Naomi Bendiner Woldemar.

Annual Giving Campaign update  Please join our faculty and Board of Trustees in making a gift or pledge (to be paid by the end of the fiscal year) to this year's Annual Giving Campaign, "This is Our School".  Your tax-deductible gift helps us complete our budget for the 2010-2011 school year.  Donate online at www.gatewaysc.org/giving/donate.html

Open House - Wednesday Nov. 10th 9-11am.  If you have any friends or neighbors who are investigating school options for next year, please encourage them to attend an open house.  RSVPs recommended. Please contact Colleen at x. 302 or colleen.sullivan@gatewaysc.org.
All-School GPA meeting Nov 11th, 9 - 10 am.
Please mark your calendars for this important opportunity to have an open discussion with Gateway Parent Association committee members, our Head of School, and Room Parents.  We will be reviewing the plans for our upcoming school events, activities related to Gateway's 40th celebration, and would like your feedback regarding the new format we created for the Fall Festival this past weekend.  Other topics and comments are welcome and there will be time for you to provide us with your input and suggestions.  Remember, all parents of Gateway students are members of our GPA!.  Everyone who attends this meeting can enter a drawing for two complimentary auction tickets! You must be present to enter the drawing. I look forward to seeing you and hearing from you on Nov 11th.  Sincerely, George Delli-Santi
Lice Update:
We have a few confirmed cases of lice here at school.  If you finds nits in your child's hair read the attached letter for more information.  Gateway has a "no nits" policy this means that all nits in your child's hair need to be removed before they can return to school.

Please check your child regularly.
Second Harvest Food Drive is an all-school drive for collecting canned food for local low-income families who receive food from a network of food pantries. The 6th grade class leads our entire school in this community service effort. Start saving your canned foods and look for more information soon as we begin the collection, which will go until winter break. Thank you!
