Dear Parents,
We enjoyed fun Halloween parades on campus today, and now we're getting ready for tomorrow's Fall Festival. Coordinators Jeannie Wholey and Shiva Hurvitz have been working especially hard this week to try to ensure a fun family festival even though the weather has been a bit unpredictable.
Right now, the weather forecast calls for intermittent rain tonight and tomorrow, with clouds giving way to sunshine in the afternoon. Based on this information, we have decided to forgo the rain plan and to host our Fall Festival events outside as usual. Please be prepared for the possibility of some inclement weather by bringing a light rain jacket and/or something to cover your head.
We are excited about tomorrow's festival and won't let a few grey skies dampen our spirits. As a reminder, the Fall Festival features games, craft booths, 40 Acts of Kindness booth supporting the SPCA and Jacob's Heart, local vendors, an artisan market place, live music and loads of fun for the whole family.
Admission is $10/family. Food can be purchased from vendors so you will want to bring some spending money.
The event runs from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm. Children will be performing music as part of our Peace & Plenty program. Kindergarten, 2nd, 4th, 5th graders will meet their teachers in their classrooms at 2:00pm to get ready for their performances. 1st, 3rd, MS students can meet their teachers on the blacktop and sit where they normally do for assemblies at 2:20.
We look forward to seeing you then. Thank you!
