Niseko Fresh Powder wrapped up another great season, with guests skiing until mid-April, despite an unusually quick spring melt. When you start with more than 10 meters of snow, it's hard to get worried about a warm spring. We will be upgrading the van this year in Niseko, to provide a little more comfort on our complimentary shopping excursions and pick-up service from the bus and train stations. We are happy to say that we have combined with Niseko's premiere powder ski school Pro Powder for tailored lessons. The staff of 8 certified backcountry guides will not only take you to the deep stuff, they will teach you how to ski it as well. New this year are 2, 3, and 4 day Powder Camps for skiers or boarders looking to get some powder time and improve their skills. We'll also be offering ski hire with Demo Ski Hire, located next to Fusion. Excellent equipment and great customer service is why we continue to refer our Fresh Powder guests to Demo. While expert skiers will prefer to bring their own boots, if you don't feel like hauling the rest of your gear from home, and want to try some new boards, give Demo a try.

If you've never visited JoJo's restaurant on the second floor of the Niseko Adventure Center (NAC), you're missing out. Featuring an eclectic blend of dishes from around the world, it's guaranteed to make everyone in your party happy. Excellent garden salads, creamy milk shakes, garlic rolls I could live on for a month, and I haven't even mentioned the main dishes yet! The restaurant is woody, open and airy, and features a climbing wall coming up through the restaurant from the first floor. You can either climb before dinner, or enjoy watching the efforts of others. Located within easy walking distance of Fresh Powder, it's certainly worth a night (or 2, or 3!) during your stay.
