It has been a busy twelve months behind the scenes for the Fresh Powder team with the recent completion of our new luxury self-contained apartments in Furano, the acquisition of a new easy to use domain name and upgrades to our property in Niseko. Some of you may be interested to know that we have had several last minute cancellations during our peak season. Furano Fresh Powder Grand Opening
On December 10 2008 we were pleased to announce the grand
opening of our newly renovated luxury self-contained apart-ments in Furano, Hokkaido, Japan. We are offering a new accommodation experience for guests in Furano, with our self contained apartments being the only luxury apartments available in the Furano region.
 The apartments have proven very popular with many of our guests who have stayed with us in Niseko over the past four years deciding to visit Furano to check out all the resort has to offer.  The building is located only thirty metres from the Kitanomine Gondola overlooking the ski slopes, offering our guests unparalleled convenience. All the two and three bedroom apartments feature spectacular panoramic views of the ski slopes or the nearby Tokachidake Mountain range. What's Happening in Niseko?  Last summer we completed a major landscape of Niseko Fresh Powder adding a six foot retaining wall, toyu tank screening, roof to our sign, gravel driveway and adding a lawn to the surrounds of the property. The improvements are all designed to ensure our summer guests are treated to beautiful surroundings. For those guests staying with us in Niseko this winter you will be pleased to know we have just finished installing SMEG rangehoods in all the kitchens in order to add to your dining experience. 
The mountain has also added a new lift just up the hill from the Gondola providing all skiers with another option to get up the hill quicker.

Freshpowder.com The Japan Fresh Powder group recently purchased the premier domain name www.freshpowder.com. Our new website and emails will make it even easier for guests to contact us and will bring our current Niseko and Furano websites under the one umbrella. We look forward to providing for you a new and innovative domain portal with everything you could hope to know about holidaying and skiing in Japan. 
Our new website will include a new and improved online real time booking system, 3-D walk through of all our apartments, unique customer log in, guest photo galleries and blogs, snow forecast, detailed summer information, travel providers, ski rental bookings, ski lesson bookings, links to other important websites and much more.
