"My experience at the Feldenkrais Learning Center has been profound.
A sense of exploration and discovery has been renewed. I allow patience to guide while curiosity and playfulness participate. I am taught, time and time again, the value of open mindedness and receptivity. This is a delicately invigorating practice. I feel heartier and revitalized."

RECONNECT: THE BENEFITS OF AWARENESS IN AWARENESS THROUGH MOVEMENT
As winter's cobwebs begin to fall away, we often find stirrings of a need to reconnect to parts of ourselves that have been hibernating during the winter, yearnings to uncover new life. Often, Awareness Through Movement lessons are thought to be primarily about the movement; but it is the awareness component that creates actual changes in our brain that enable us to create new mental and emotional patterns, as well as new movement patterns.
Our featured article is an interview by Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitionercm Cynthia Allen with Feldenkrais Trainer Russell Delman, in which he talks about Moshe Feldenkrais's belief that "human consciousness is evolving; that awareness is a relatively new human capacity and we are still just infants in appreciating its potential."
Our next series of workshops includes opportunities to increase your awareness in a variety of ways: find your "'Ideal Posture' the Feldenkrais Way"; learn "Embodied Dancing, Like Water, Fluid and Strong"; bring Feldenkrais to your Yoga practice; navigate "Transitions in Movement and Life"; and "Use Your Eyes with Ease."
We are pleased to announce that Rachel Lidov has joined the faculty at the Feldenkrais Learning Center. Rachel will be teaching the Saturday morning 11 a.m. weekly A.T.M. class. Help us give Rachel a warm welcome by joining her class one of these fine spring weekends.
All of our A.T.M. classes and workshops are wonderful opportunites to refresh and open yourself for the new life that spring brings. Join us!
