GIVE YOURSELF THE GIFT OF EASE!
For many, stress and tension have become synonymous with the holiday season. With the addition of holiday-related tasks, self-care can easily fall to the bottom of one's to-do list. And yet, it is precisely what is needed to allow one to move through busy and stressful times with ease and even pleasure.
We have a number of wonderful classes and workshops coming up that will remind you to slow down, tune-in, and breathe! There's even a new meditation class beginning on January 17th.
Enjoy our featured article "Three Easy 'Peaces' for Deep Relaxation and Stress Relief" by Michael Krugman for a few simple ways to relieve stress at home.
Whether you come to a class, a workshop, or a private lesson, we look forward to sharing this powerful work with you!

*NEW! SITTING AND WALKING MEDITATION PRACTICE with Barbara Forbes Monday evenings, 8-9 pm (First meeting January 17th)
Barbara will be leading a regular sitting and walking meditation practice following the 7pm Awareness Through Movement class at the FLC on Monday evenings from 8 to 9 pm. Please direct all inquiries to barforb@hotmail.com
"Movement is Life," said Moshe Feldenkrais. During Awareness Through Movement, we expand self awareness by bringing interested curiosity to each moment of movement. Similarly, while simply sitting, paying attention, we can observe that life is always in motion. Listening to whatever arises, with an attitude of acceptance and respect, warmth and interest, we learn to be kinder to ourselves and to others, and we grow our capacity for compassionate and relaxed vitality in life.
The immense value of meditation for enriching our lives and deepening our Feldenkrais practice, has become clear to me over a three-year mentorship program with Russell Delman, Feldenkrais trainer and Embodied Life teacher. I look forward to you joining me on Monday evenings at 8 pm to explore how we can cultivate more spontaneous awareness together. - Barbara Forbes ________________________________________________________
