"It is a pleasure to testify to the effectiveness of the Feldenkrais Method which has helped me through the 20 years since my diagnosis of Parkinson 's disease. I feel less tense after a lesson, more balanced and I have more energy. It helps more than anything else has--to the point that my neurologist guessed when my Feldenkrais practitioner was out of town because my symptoms increased temporarily. I am so grateful, I tell everyone about Feldenkrais." - Dinah Flusser, Diplomat

PREPARING FOR EMBODIED LIVING!
As winter moves towards its close, we begin to sense the potential for new beginnings. Replenished by winter's rest, we move into life anew.
If Feldenkrais is already a part of your life, it will come as no surprise to learn that scientists have recently shown how physical movement can aid in learning, memory and problem solving. Read the featured article from Science Daily and learn more about what scientists are calling "embodied cognition"--which Moshe Feldenkrais intuited over half a century ago!
Then you can watch a short video interview with Feldenkrais trainer, Russell Delman who speaks about how the Feldenkrais Method enables us to live an "embodied life."
Whether you dance or run, or want to find greater comfort in your neck, back or pelvis, we have a workshop to address your needs. You learn new patterns of body and mind in a supportive environment, bringing greater ease and spontaneity to your every day life. You are your body/mind!
We look forward to seeing you at one of our classes or workshops!
