SUMMER A.T.M. SERIES BEGINS JUNE 1st REGISTER FOR A CLASS TODAY!
There is still time to sign up for one of the many A.T.M. classes offered at the Feldenkrais Learning Center. In addition, we have three more great Workshops scheduled before we break for summer. Currently #1 in Exercise and Fitness and #2 in Healthy Living on Amazon's Bestseller list is Anat Baniel's newly released book entitled MOVE INTO LIFE. Anat was personally mentored by Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais and was one of the original Feldenkrais trainers before developing the Anat Baniel Method (ABM).
In her book, Anat identifies nine essential qualities for lifelong vitality. The book is written in an extremely readable style and is rich in content. It includes up-to-date research in neuroscience, easy-to-follow exercises, and numerous examples of people who have been helped by her work. World-famous neuroscientist, Dr. Michael Merzenich, says, "Anat Baniel has developed powerful, practical strategies for improving your abilities and building a better, stronger brain...."
I think that you will find this book very rewarding and beneficial and will want to recommend it to everyone interested in learning and growing. For more information on Anat's book, visit: anatbanielmethod.com. I recommend that everyone read this very important book and give a copy to the baby-boomer in your life. ~ Bob Etherington There is a free presentation and book signing by Anat in New York City on Thursday, June 4th from 6-8pm at the Subud Chelsea Center, 230 West 29th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues. For details, contact Rebecca Gardiner at 212-736-3331 or by email: rebecca@learningfrommovement.com.
In addition to Anat's new book, we encourage you to check out our FEATURED ARTICLE which provides some equally interesting reading.

FEATURED ARTICLE |
Moshe Feldenkrais based the body of his work on the principle that fundamentally the human being is mentally and physically an integrated whole. To separate movement from thought would amount to the same thing as cutting off one's head and analyzing the movement that happens afterwards. Other than the functions that control the internal organs, sensory organs and reflex responses, our movement is all learned. This learning requires feedback, analysis and assimilation in order to do the simplest task. We hope this article will give you an appreciation of just how wonderful, unique and changeable we all are.
