FACULTY SIGHTINGSHere's what some of our faculty have been up to in addition to the classes and workshops they are offering at the Center. Marcy Lindheimer
Marcy Lindheimer will be co-teaching the 2nd segment of the 4th training in the Anat Baniel Method in San Rafael, California, from May 9th through the 17th. The more than 70 participants come from all over the world - England, Austria, Sweden, Russia, Egypt, Brazil, Mexico and Canada, with the majority from the U.S. The world-wide interest in, and popularity of, the Anat Baniel Method seems to be the result of Anat's many videos on YouTube. Anat's book, entitled Move Into Life: The Nine Essentials for Lifelong Vitality, will be released on April 28th by Harmony Books.
Scott FraserScott will be co-teaching a workshop at the Society for the Advancement of Judaism (SAJ) over the next two months. He
will be exploring the idea of rest and reflection during Shabbat by
cultivating awareness and a deeper quality of attending to ourselves
and others through the FELDENKRAIS METHOD. Rebecca Gardiner Rebecca will be coordinating the New York City launch of Anat Baniel's book, Move Into Life, based on her years of study with Dr. Feldenkrais, on June 4th from 6-8pm. An all-day workshop with Anat will also be offered on June 6th from 10am - 5pm. To inquire, please contact: rebecca@learningfrommovement.com
Rebecca will also be conducting an "Arts in Education" workshop at the Greenwich House Music School on May 1st. Julia PakJulia is now teaching weekly classes at the National Council of Jewish Women, an organization that addresses the social, intellectual and creative needs of people 55 years and older.
