LOCAL MUSIC NEWS: M-DUB (EASY MONEY ENT) RELEASES FIRST PROMO ALBUM TITLED "SELF MOTIVATED"
Minneapolis-based hip-hop label, Easy Money Entertainment announced the
release of its first album from their soloist artist M-Dub.
M-Dub and the Easy Money family have been working hard, and the name of
their first promotional album says it all: "Self Motivated".
"Basically, this is something we want to show others that we can do all
this ourselves," says Dan Ominde, Easy Money's Manager. "We don't want
help from any major labels. We don't need it."
The seven-song promo - a precursor to M-Dub's full-length album "The
World Is Listening," which will be released sometime next year - shows
that mainstream-quality hip-hop can be made without the financial
backing of a major label.
Recorded by Sota Entertainment and engineered by Chris Chin Ho in the
Minnesota-based; Sonic Works Studio, "Self Motivated" features seven
diverse tracks giving listeners a taste of what's to come from M-Dub on
the following projects. Some of the tracks featured on the "Self
Motivated" album are "Dub's Here", "Dream Catcher", "Show Off" and
"Self Motivated".
