weeks of wondering whether this competition was ever going to end, I think it's
safe to say that we're finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Most Official crushes competition by bringing in
Twin Cities hip
hop heavyweight Muja Messiah to remake his smash hit single "Do The
Math". According to
Jay Andino of the SRC/Loud Radio department, the
single is "...our hottest record so far." Could this mean victory for Mighty Most? Can't say yet,
but we will definitely be holding it
down and showing our support in any way we can.

SPEAKER AT MCDC WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP FORUM MAY 15TH

Angela Bassett, legendary actor and
recent recipient of a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame,
is scheduled to speak at the MultiCultural
Development Center's Women's Leadership Forum.
Perhaps best
known for her portrayal of Tina Turner in What's Love Got To Do With It, Bassett
has also starred is such movies as How
Stella Got Her Groove Back, The
Score, Music
of the Heart and Malcolm
X. Bassett's latest movie, Meet the Browns,
was released earlier this month. She also starred opposite Laurence
Fishburne in the critically-acclaimed movie Akeelah
and the Bee.

LAUNCH FOUNDATION AGAINST YOUTH VIOLENCE

The
Charez Jones "No More!" Foundation is
working to create an environment of non-violence and an awareness in our
communities of the danger of not standing up and rallying concern in the face
of a mounting social problem that does not seem to be getting any better.
On a Saturday night in June of 2007, Charez Jones was leaving a party for teens with her
boyfriend and was caught in the crossfire of rival gangs on the north side of Minneapolis.
Charez was shot once in the head and
pronounced dead on the spot.
Charez was an innocent victim and will never be forgotten.
As a result Charez's father, Guy Jones
(Foundation Founder) and Mother Kim Golden (Co-Founder of the Foundation) have created the
Charez
Jones Foundation, A memorial, A tribute, and an
approach to the problem of teen, and
