Beach Season Arrives! Know the Parking and Dog Rules.
Beautiful weather has us all, residents and visitors alike, coming back to the Isle of Palms beach, recently named one of the top ten best beach destinations in the United States by Southern Living Magazine. Have the best beach day possible. Stay safe, use sunscreen, drink plenty of water, and avoid a parking citation by knowing the parking rules. The Front Beach parking meters are enforced from 8AM to 6PM, seven days per week for $1.00 per hour. Dogs can be on the beach without a leash from 5AM to 8AM April 1st through September 14th. City residents and property owners need to acquire a dog license. Please fill in any beach holes you dig to keep people and turtles safe. Remember to take your beach gear, chairs and umbrellas off the beach each night. Enjoy! |
