Friday Night Hoops - January 22 
Basketball
Girls and boys ages 7-12 can have a safe, fun Friday night shooting hoops.  Learn proper passing techniques and basic dribbling skills during drills and games.  The cost is $10 per athlete.  Call the Rec at 843-886-8294 to register.  Sessions are from 6:00-8:00PM on the following Fridays: January 22, February 12, March 12 & 26, April 23.
 
Youth Sport Leagues 
Fast Start Baseball will teach children ages 3-4 basic baseball skills.  Parents will learn as well with participation and by signing a code of ethics.  Youth Baseball offers a t-ball league for ages 5-6, a machine pitch league for ages 7-8 and a Cal Ripken league for ages 9-12.  Girls ages 9-11 can join the softball league to improve their skills.  See you on the diamond!
 
 
IOP's Got Talent! Auditions Tonight! 
Are you IOP's next top talent?  Open auditions will be held for polished acts ready to prove that IOP has talent.  Skit actors, singers, dancers, comedians and musicians of all ages are invited to audition at the Rec on Tuesday, January 12 from 6:30-9:00.  Come watch the show at 7:00PM on Friday, January 22 and Saturday, January 23.  Tickets are available in advance for $5 or when the doors open 30 minutes prior to show time.
 
Island Arcade DayIsland Arcade Day January 30
Love Ms. Pac Man, Galaga, Burger Time, Donkey Kong and more? Come play classic, old-school arcade games at the Recreation Center's Island Arcade Day from 12:00PM-4:00PM on Saturday, January 30.  Bring your bicycle and have it registered with the Isle of Palms Police Department for free all-day play admission.  Without bicycle registration, play all day for $5. 
Game Time - Wiffle Ball on January 14 and Capture the Flag on January 15
It is game time at the Rec!  Boys and girls ages 7-14 can play wiffle ball on Thursday, January 14 from 1:00-3:00PM.  Capture the flag will be played on Friday, January 15 from 1:00-3:00PM.  Call the Rec at 843-886-8294 to register.
