Shoal AttachmentBeach Restoration Update - Sand Fencing and Dune Vegetation Construction Starts Soon

In April, the City expects to start construction on a sand fencing and dune vegetation planting project that will protect and build the newly restored beach.  Although the primary construction of the beach restoration project is complete, the City will continue to monitor the beach for three years as required by the permits issued by regulatory agencies.  On a regular schedule, the City will perform surveys and testing of the project area and the borrow areas.  All results will carefully monitored and all work will be done in accordance with protections for sea turtles
